Born in 1948, Palmer was a nice kid who served in the army and gambling was just a hobby to relax during those days. Back then, he didn’t have any motive to cheat or create any methods to do so.
After military service, Palmer’s cheating journey began back in California where he met his friend D. Swenson, who was involved in illegal activities like drug dealing and running the Past posting Team.
Before this, Swenson met Joe Classon, who’s famous in blackjack playing history. The team back then was Classon, his girlfriend, Swenson and the addition of the remarkable member- Jerry Palmer.
By the 70’s they had created the past posting way of cheating at craps and roulette. Palmer then suggested they use the method on blackjack too. The team didn’t agree since they claimed it would be risky to carry out in front of casino dealers.
That didn’t stop Palmer who tried it on his own and ended up being hugely successful and ended up tricking all the blackjack tables that evening. That is the official start of past posting in blackjack play.
Palmer stayed in the team a few more years till he had to quit because of his strong drug addiction, which caused his death in 1994.
